Mackeson - All Hail The King - Broadcast Advert - 3D Animation
Client: Ogilvy Caribbean
I worked at Believe Studio and Ogilvy Caribbean approached them with a brief to produce a video for Mackeson Triple Stout. We worked to bring their label rebrand to life using shadows and intrigue, culminating in a full reveal. I modelled the 3D bottle from product photography and used volumetric lighting to create a moody and mysterious scene, yet one set to energetic music to enhance the premium aspect of the drink in the contemporary marketplace. The tagline ‘All Hail the King’ was the anchor to the theme of superiority, low angles and back lighting enhanced the reverence of the bottle. The new Mackeson label brings with it the traditional icon of men standing in an inverted pyramid, bringing the label from 2D into a 3D space to create the final fly-through into full reveal.
On top of creating this broadcast advert for Caribbean television, I also created multiple out of home versions for billboards.
